Ts'udé Nilįné Tuyeta | Indigenous Protected Area Profiles

The K'asho Got'ı̨nę people have led the way in conserving 10,000 sq km of boreal forest in near Fort Good Hope, NWT. They are working in partnership with the Government of NWT to establish the Ts'udé Nilįné Tuyeta (Ramparts) protected area. Rich in wetlands, nesting grounds and lands of great cultural significance, Ts'udé Nilįné Tuyeta will sustain an area nearly twice the size of Prince Edward Island.
